About the Atelier

Dodson Atelier was born from a lifelong love of lettering, beautiful details, and creating things by hand.

For over a decade, I’ve been drawn to handwritten details, thoughtful design, and the quiet artistry that makes something feel personal. In 2023, I began formally studying letterforms and refining my technique, investing more deeply in the discipline behind traditional calligraphy. What began as a creative passion eventually grew into Dodson Atelier.

Based in Dallas, Texas, I create custom hand engraving, live event personalization, hot foiling, and calligraphy for weddings, brand experiences, celebrations, and meaningful gifts. My work is rooted in craftsmanship, balance, and thoughtful design.

I believe the smallest details often carry the most meaning. A fragrance bottle engraved for a wedding morning. A guest watching their piece being personalized at an event. A handwritten place card waiting at the table. A gift made personal for someone you love.

Each piece is created by hand with careful attention to detail and intention, with the goal of making the finished result feel refined, personal, and completely at home in the moment it was created for.
